WEEK 14 - 13.07.20
ENGLISH
SPELLING
This week for your spelling test I would like you to have a go at a spelling investigation - you can use a dictionary or the internet for this!
READING
Follow this pathway for Mr Cloke's bedtime story:
Curriculum>>Bespoke Curriculum>>English>>Bedtime Stories
Children need to read to you/you read to them as regularly as you can. They have all been given books from school with additional reading challenges to complete and work through. Please try and read for at least 20 minutes each day!
English Task
For the final week of your writing task, we are going to look forward to September - and most importantly, Year 7. The final task this week is an 'All About Me' personal reflection booklet where you will have the opportunity to think about goals and dreams, ambitions, worries and things you are looking forward when you take the next step in September. If you are unable to print the booklet, you can work your way through the questions and task on a separate piece of paper. Good luck!
RadioBlogging.Net is a LIVE daily radio broadcast that teaches literacy. It’s interactive so that children can write and their work is published during and after the show, with immediate feedback to develop children’s learning. Each day there are spelling, grammar and vocabulary games, followed by creative writing and the opportunity to respond to a guest author’s reading. Each show features either a poet or author of the day. It is an innovative project combining education radio and blogging to enhance and support continuous learning.
