May Writers in KS1 and Reception
We have some beautiful examples of writing this month. KS1 worked on some brilliant double page spreads focused on Castles and Knights! Reception have been writing about frogs and tadpoles - what brilliant and well presented writing in Reception!
April Writer of the Month
Our April writer of the month was selected for her amazing double page spread sharing all of her knowledge on The Vikings. This beautifully presented piece of work showcases all of the amazing writing that is happening in Year 3 - well done!

Our Reception winner was selected by Mrs Wainer for his fabulous writing and the Christmas Nativity and for always writing books of his own in his free time. Well done on winning the award!
Our KS2 writer was chosen for their brilliant persuasive letter supporting the WWF and thier 'Save the Orangutans' project linked to Kensuke's Kingdom. They presented a brilliant letter filled with brilliant points, exceptional evidence to back up the point and detailed explanation. Well done to our Year 6 writer!
The November writers of the month are...
In Year 2, a brilliant piece of instruction writing on how to make muddy hedgehogs in the forest. There were clear instructions, adjectives used for description and beautiful presentation - well done!
Here is our KS2 Writer of the Month for her brilliant double page non-fiction writing about Italy! She was chosen for her great use of subject specific vocabulary and her very informative glossary at the end of her writing. We especially enjoyed the fact boxes and colourful additions to bring the text to life - well done!
